48First is providing network support and infrastructure to Hunter Roberts Construction Group as they oversee construction on the new training facility for the New York Jets.
Scheduled for completion in June of 2008, the new 26-acre site will house not only the training facilities, but also the corporate headquarters for the NFL franchise. Hunter Roberts has tapped 48First to provide them with the technology, connectivity, and support to manage both the preconstruction and construction phases of the project.
“Hunter Roberts is growing fast,” comments Peter Mogollon, CEO of 48First, “and they need a technology infrastructure that is scalable so that it can grow with them.” 48First manages all of the IT requirements not only for HRCG’s role in the construction of the new Jets facility, but for the entire company nationwide.
48First has branch offices in all of the cities where Hunter Roberts operates, allowing their engineers to address all IT concerns in person when necessary. Fortunately, because 48First utilizes the latest technology to monitor the Hunter Roberts networks and servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, virtually no issue goes unnoticed or unresolved.
“The new Jets facility is just one of many projects Hunter Roberts is working on,” says Mogollon. “It’s far more efficient for them to outsource their IT support to us, than to try to handle it all in-house. This way they can focus on their core business, and 48First handles the rest.”
