West Palm Beach-based news media company NewsMax has established a presence in New York City with a 5,000 square foot office space on West 40th Street, directly overlooking Bryant Park. The new office fills an entire floor and has space for up to thirty employees. Also included is a hi-tech television studio where video production for the company’s NewsMaxTV and MoneyNews websites will take place.
“NewsMax is expanding at a really rapid rate and the demands for several segments of our business are growing, including areas such as editorial, marketing, database management, publishing, ad sales,” says NewsMax CEO Christopher Ruddy. “New York remains the leader in many of these areas.”
Christopher Ruddy founded NewsMax Media in 1998. The company currently publishes NewsMax Magazine and operates its own news site, NewsMax.com. Also under the company’s umbrella is finance-focused site MoneyNews.com, which management plans to expand. According to Nielsen, NewsMax.com receives 7.7 million visitors per month.
Key IT systems for NewsMax Media’s new space were designed and put in place by 48First Computer Support company in New York. The company also completed extensive cabling for the office. 48First will continue to provide IT support and network solutions services to NewsMax as needed.
“While we take pride in establishing an efficient and sustainable IT infrastructure for our clients, our job doesn’t end there,” says 48First CEO Peter Mogollón. “We will provide continuous support to NewsMax as they build their presence in New York City and expand their business.”
